First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether adding healthy living strategies to standard blood-thinning medication can improve recovery after a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs). About 100 adults who were hospitalized for this condition will join an 8-week program. Researchers will measure heart effort during a 6-minute walk test to see if the program helps.
