Summary
This study tested a device that stimulates the diaphragm (the main breathing muscle) in people with heart failure and reduced pumping ability. 35 participants received either the active device or a sham. The goal was to see if the device could improve heart function and exercise capacity safely. This is a pilot study to guide future larger trials.
