Summary
This early study tests whether gentle electrical stimulation deep inside the brain can help people with long-term disorders of consciousness, such as after a severe injury or stroke. Only 2 participants will receive the treatment to check if it is safe and might improve awareness. The goal is to see if this approach can restore some level of consciousness, not to cure the underlying condition.
