First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether rebamipide, a stomach-protecting drug, can help control rheumatoid arthritis when added to standard methotrexate therapy. Sixty adults with active arthritis took part. Researchers measured joint swelling, pain, and disease activity to see if the combination worked better than methotrexate alone.
