Single-Use scope study pulled before it began
NCT ID NCT04687774
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study planned to test a disposable duodenoscope (Exalt D) in up to 35 people undergoing ERCP, a procedure to examine the bile and pancreatic ducts. The goal was to see if the single-use scope could complete the procedure without switching to a reusable one. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
