New weapon against superbugs: Real-World test begins

NCT ID NCT07176247

Summary

This study aims to see how well a new antibiotic combination (aztreonam-avibactam) works in real hospital settings for patients with serious infections caused by bacteria that resist most other drugs. It will track about 100 patients in intensive care or infectious disease units, looking at whether their infections clear up and how they recover. The goal is to gather evidence to help doctors use this new treatment more effectively against these dangerous infections.
