Can electronic health records replace clinical trials? new study aims to find out.
NCT ID NCT07485179
First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether information from real cancer patients' electronic health records can produce results similar to a past clinical trial (KEYNOTE-042) for advanced lung cancer. Researchers will analyze data from about 770 patients to see if real-world data can be trusted for future research. The goal is to learn when and how to use this type of data confidently, not to test a new treatment.
