Researchers look back at how cancer drugs performed in everyday clinics
NCT ID NCT04498481
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to understand how patients with advanced breast cancer fared when treated with specific drug combinations in regular community oncology clinics. It did not test new treatments but aimed to learn from real-world experiences about treatment patterns, how long patients stayed on therapy, and survival outcomes. The goal was to gather knowledge about how these already-approved medications work outside of controlled clinical trials.
