One inhaler, three drugs: does it help asthma patients stick with treatment?
NCT ID NCT04902573
Summary
This study observed 147 adults with moderate to severe asthma whose doctor had already decided to prescribe a specific triple-therapy inhaler (Trimbow) as part of their regular care. The goal was to see if using this single inhaler, which combines three medications, helped patients stick to their treatment plan and improved their asthma control and quality of life in a real-world setting. Researchers collected data over time to understand the treatment's effects on symptoms, lung function, and exacerbations.
