Tracking a lifeline: Real-World survival data for frail blood cancer patients

NCT ID NCT05424562

Summary

This study aims to understand how well the approved drug venetoclax works in real-world settings for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are too old or frail for standard intensive chemotherapy. It will follow about 200 patients across Canada for three years, collecting data on survival, remission rates, and quality of life during their normal treatment. The goal is to gather practical evidence on managing this aggressive blood cancer in vulnerable patients.
