Real-Time guidance for cancer radiation: a First-in-Human feasibility trial
NCT ID NCT06708221
First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026
Summary
This study will test whether a new method called Real-Time Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) can be used successfully in people with cancer. The goal is to see if the radiation beam can hit the tumor accurately in at least 85% of treatment sessions without causing unexpected severe side effects. About 40 adults with certain cancers (brain, breast, head and neck, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, prostate, or spine) will take part. No extra procedures beyond standard radiation therapy are needed.
