Landmark study maps cancer care journey for 500 patients
NCT ID NCT03963544
Summary
This study observed 492 adults in France with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) cancer to understand how doctors treat this disease in real-world settings. Researchers looked back at patient records from 1990 to 2018 to map out the sequence of treatments used and measure how long patients lived and how long treatments worked. The goal was to gather knowledge about current care patterns to help improve future treatment strategies.
