Summary
This study looks at whether collecting and re-infusing unwashed blood lost during off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery is safe and effective. The goal is to reduce the need for donor blood transfusions and lower complications. 50 adults aged 40-75 with coronary artery disease are participating.
