First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a procedure called renal denervation, which uses ultrasound to calm overactive kidney nerves, in 12 adults with both end-stage kidney disease on dialysis and treatment-resistant hypertension. The goal is to see if it safely lowers 24-hour blood pressure. Participants will not receive a placebo, and the study focuses on safety and blood pressure changes over 6 months.
