First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compares a new imaging technique called red dichromatic imaging (RDI) with standard white-light endoscopy during a procedure that removes early cancers or precancerous growths from the stomach, esophagus, or colon. The goal is to see if RDI helps doctors work faster and safer by making blood vessels and bleeding spots easier to see. About 158 adults with early-stage digestive tract lesions will take part across multiple hospitals.
