New COVID pill ratutrelvir enters early human testing

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug called ratutrelvir in 90 adults with mild to moderate COVID-19 who are not in the hospital. Participants take the study drug plus standard care. The main goals are to check safety and find the right dose, and to see how quickly symptoms improve.
