New COVID-19 drug trial seeks faster recovery

Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called ratutrelvir, when given alongside standard COVID-19 treatment, is safe and helps people recover faster from mild to moderate COVID-19. The trial will enroll 90 adults who have had COVID-19 symptoms for less than 5 days and don't require hospitalization. Researchers will compare how quickly symptoms improve and monitor for any side effects.
