Summary

This study tested a new rapid test (POC-Tg) that measures thyroglobulin levels in fluid from a lymph node biopsy to quickly detect if thyroid cancer has spread. Currently, patients wait days to weeks for results. The new test aims to give results in minutes, helping doctors make faster treatment decisions. The study involved 250 adults with suspected or known differentiated thyroid cancer.
