Summary

This study tested whether a rapid 30-minute test for gonorrhea and chlamydia helps doctors make better treatment decisions compared to the current standard test. About 100 adults with symptoms of urethritis or cervicitis took part. The goal was to see if the rapid test reduces unnecessary antibiotic use and shortens clinic visits.
