Summary
This study looks at two different ways to staff a rapid response team—the team that rushes to help when a hospital patient suddenly gets worse. One team includes an ICU doctor and nurse, the other an ICU nurse without a doctor. The goal is to see if the nurse-led team works just as well. About 1,500 adult patients in a general hospital will take part.
