First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a week-long course of accelerated brain stimulation (TMS) can quickly reduce PTSD symptoms. About 132 adults with PTSD, including some with traumatic brain injury, will receive either real or sham TMS over 5 days. The goal is to see if this condensed treatment provides fast relief and how long the effects last.
