Summary
This study tested a new way to protect the brain after a stroke. After doctors removed a blood clot, they briefly stopped blood flow to the brain using a balloon, then let it flow again. This was done to help the brain adapt and reduce swelling. The study included 25 adults with severe strokes and aimed to find the safest and best way to do this procedure.
