First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of taking tissue samples from lung cancer patients to see if having a specialist check the sample right away helps get enough tissue for genetic testing. About 349 adults with known or suspected non-small cell lung cancer will take part. The goal is to improve the success rate of genetic tests that guide treatment.
