Summary
This study tested a new way to help people with opioid use disorder who use fentanyl switch to standard oral opioid therapy. Participants received medically supervised IV fentanyl until comfortable, then started daily oral medication tailored to their needs. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and helps people stay on treatment longer. The study involved 48 adults and was completed.
