Heart and kidney patients: is one pill a day better than two?

NCT ID NCT07259512

Summary

This study aims to find the best daily schedule for taking ramipril, a common medication for heart and kidney disease. Researchers will compare taking one larger dose per day versus two smaller doses in 80 patients who have both chronic kidney disease and a type of heart failure. The goal is to see which schedule better protects kidney function over 30 days by measuring specific markers in the blood and urine.
