Summary
This study looks at whether a smartphone app can encourage mothers of children aged 4 and under to test their homes for radon, a gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer. About 100 mothers will get a free radon test kit and complete surveys to see if the app boosts their knowledge and testing rates. The goal is to find a simple way to reduce lung cancer risk, especially for children who are more vulnerable to radon.
