Zapping spreading spots: can radiation extend control of advanced melanoma?

NCT ID NCT07112170

Summary

This study is testing whether adding focused, high-dose radiation to a small number of spots where melanoma is spreading can help patients stay on their current drug treatments longer. It involves adults with advanced melanoma whose cancer is mostly controlled by immunotherapy or targeted drugs but has started growing in up to 10 areas outside the brain. The main goal is to see if this approach delays further cancer progression.
