Summary
This study looked at whether adding focused radiation to standard drug therapy helps people with breast cancer that has spread to a limited number of places (up to 5 spots). The goal was to see if it delays cancer growth and improves quality of life. 87 participants were randomly assigned to receive either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus radiation to the metastatic sites.
