Radiation zaps nerve pain in early safety trial

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a single, highly focused dose of radiation can safely treat chronic pain in the chest or abdominal wall. Researchers will give different radiation doses to a small group of adults whose pain hasn't been helped by standard pain medications. The main goal is to find the highest dose that causes few or only mild side effects.
