New radiofrequency tool aims to reshape noses in surgery

NCT ID NCT07032675

Summary

This study is testing a device that uses gentle radiofrequency energy to reshape nose and ear cartilage outside the body during cosmetic or functional nose surgery. Researchers want to see if this method can effectively create the desired shape for the cartilage before it's put back in, potentially improving breathing and appearance. They will compare results, surgery time, and safety to standard nose surgery techniques.
