Liver cancer showdown: which radiation works best?

NCT ID NCT07530172

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of radiation therapy for people with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). One method delivers radiation directly to the tumor through a small tube in an artery, while the other uses a precise external beam. The goal is to see which approach better controls the tumor and reduces the need for additional treatment over one year. About 146 adults with up to three liver tumors will participate.
