New combo could supercharge liver cancer radiation

NCT ID NCT07312292

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a short infusion of angiotensin II, given directly into the liver artery, can help radioactive beads reach liver tumors more effectively while sparing healthy tissue. About 15 adults with liver cancer will receive the drug right before standard radioembolization. Researchers will compare scans to see if the drug improves targeting and check for side effects.
