NCT ID NCT04158141
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding targeted radiation to the chest after surgery and chemotherapy could help people with early-stage malignant pleural mesothelioma live longer. The trial was stopped early and only enrolled 16 participants, so it is not clear if the radiation provided any benefit. The study was designed for people with stage I to IIIA mesothelioma that could be removed with surgery.
