Doctors test faster radiation for rare abdominal tumors

NCT ID NCT06812052

Summary

This early-phase trial is testing whether a shorter, more intense course of radiation is safe for people with retroperitoneal sarcoma, a rare cancer in the abdomen. The study will enroll 6 adults to monitor side effects like nausea and diarrhea in the first month after treatment. The goal is to see if this approach can be used before surgery to help control the tumor.
