New study aims to reduce dry mouth from head and neck cancer radiation

Summary
This study looked at two different ways to plan radiation therapy for head and neck cancer to see which causes less dry mouth. 23 patients were randomly assigned to either a standard margin-based plan or a robust plan. The goal was to improve quality of life by reducing this common side effect.
