Gut radiation revives failed cancer drugs in new trial
NCT ID NCT07071103
Summary
This study is testing whether a very low dose of radiation to the intestines can help restart the effectiveness of immunotherapy drugs in people with advanced, spreading cancers that have stopped responding to those drugs. It will enroll 48 adults with cancers like lung or esophageal cancer. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and control the disease for longer.
