Zapping stubborn brain tumors: new hope for lung cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT06020066

Summary

This study is for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer that has spread to the brain. After initial treatment with targeted drugs, if only a few small brain tumors remain, the trial tests whether adding a very precise form of radiation (stereotactic radiotherapy) can help control the cancer longer and improve survival. It involves 202 participants and compares outcomes for those who receive the radiation versus those who do not.
