Precision radiation blasts prostate Cancer's first outposts

NCT ID NCT04983095

Summary

This study is testing if adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment to standard hormone therapy can better control prostate cancer that has spread to only a few places in the body. It will involve about 118 men whose cancer has spread to 1-3 spots, as seen on a special scan. The goal is to see if this combined approach helps keep the cancer from progressing for a longer time compared to hormone therapy alone.
