Targeted radiation blitz tested to stop limited cancer spread
NCT ID NCT03599765
Summary
This study is testing if adding targeted radiation or surgery to standard drug therapy works better than drug therapy alone for controlling cancer that has spread to only a few places in the body. It involves 380 adults with various solid tumors that have 5 or fewer metastatic sites. The goal is to see if this combined approach helps keep the cancer from progressing longer and improves survival.
