First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares how much radiation doctors are exposed to during heart procedures (PCI) when using two different arm access points: the left wrist versus the right wrist. About 748 adults scheduled for PCI will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches. The goal is to see which method reduces radiation exposure for the doctor, potentially making the procedure safer for medical staff.
