Do X-Rays harm Doctors' blood vessels? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07363187
Summary
This study aims to understand if long-term, low-dose radiation exposure from medical imaging equipment causes early, hidden damage to the smallest blood vessels in healthcare workers. Researchers will compare 90 workers exposed to radiation with those who are not, using a simple finger-nail exam and blood tests. The goal is to gather knowledge about potential long-term health risks, not to test a treatment.
