New Two-Pronged attack on Tough-to-Treat gut tumors
NCT ID NCT07150546
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether combining two radiation-based treatments is safe and more effective for controlling large, inoperable neuroendocrine tumors in the digestive system. Participants first receive a highly focused, external radiation treatment, followed by a radioactive drug that seeks out and destroys tumor cells. The goal is to see if this combination better prevents the cancer from growing or returning compared to the standard drug treatment alone.
