New combo therapy tested for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

NCT ID NCT05244239

Summary

This early-stage study aims to find out if it is safe to give palliative radiation therapy at the same time as a cancer drug called lurbinectedin. The trial is for adults with extensive stage small cell lung cancer that has spread and worsened after initial chemotherapy. Researchers want to see if using both treatments together helps relieve symptoms better or causes more side effects.
