Radiation blast after surgery: new hope to stop Hand-Crippling disease from coming back?

NCT ID NCT04122313

Summary

This study is checking if a specific radiation treatment given right after surgery helps stop Dupuytren's disease from returning and worsening hand function. It will follow 50 people with the condition for two years after they get standard surgery followed by radiation. The main goal is to see if this combined approach helps people use their hands better and prevents the finger contractures from coming back.
