First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a calorie-controlled, anti-inflammatory diet combined with walking can reduce heart disease risk factors in men with advanced prostate cancer who are on hormone therapy (ADT). The researchers want to see if African American men respond differently than non-Hispanic white men. About 70 men will follow their usual routine for 3 months, then switch to the diet and walking program for another 3 months, with body fat and heart health markers measured throughout.
