RA drugs put to the fitness test: can treatment boost your energy?
NCT ID NCT07182630
Summary
This study aims to understand how two common types of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) medications affect patients' physical fitness, muscle strength, and feelings of fatigue. Researchers will compare 40 adults with RA who have been taking either anti-TNF-α drugs or other non-TNF-α drugs for 1-3 years. The main goal is to see if one drug type helps patients feel less tired and improves their heart health and ability to exercise more than the other.
