Simple step test could help gauge fall risk for arthritis patients

NCT ID NCT07264101

Summary

This study aims to see if a quick, simple test called the Four Square Step Test is a reliable way to measure balance in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Researchers will have 50 participants with RA perform the test and compare the results to other standard measures of balance, disease activity, pain, and quality of life. The goal is to find a fast, practical tool that doctors can use in clinics to better understand a patient's fall risk and mobility challenges.
