This study tests if a new drug called R3R01 can lower protein in the urine, a sign of kidney damage, in adults with type 2 diabetes and kidney disease. About 60 people will take either R3R01 or a placebo for 3 months. Researchers will check urine protein, kidney function, and blood pressure to see if the drug helps protect the kidneys.
