Summary
This study tests whether adding special social skills lessons called R-CITY to an existing school curriculum helps prevent violence. Researchers worked with 27 elementary and middle schools to see if teaching students skills like recognizing emotions, responding appropriately, building relationships, and developing resilience improves classroom behavior. The goal is to create safer learning environments by giving teachers and students better tools to handle conflicts.
