New MRI techniques could reveal hidden clues about cancer
NCT ID NCT03483337
First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study uses advanced MRI scans to measure water movement inside tumors, which may give doctors more information about the cancer. Researchers will compare these new MRI images with standard tests to see if they can predict how well a patient responds to treatment. The study involves 200 adults with head and neck or thyroid cancer who are either being watched for recurrence or planning treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
